Sub-internships and Rotations

I used this good resource about Sub-internships and Rotations I found on the University of Michigan website which has various pdf documents giving you guidance on which electives you should take based off your residency choice:

The only thing that I think will differ for you and me is that it says to apply to about 20 places to get about 10 interviews. If you are a foreign student, you should apply to a lot more places than that.

When you go to this page, you will find about the Sub-internships and Rotations pdf s under the section that says Course Suggestions. It covers the following specialties:

Emergency Medicine
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
Neurology
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Ophthalmology
Orthopaedic Surgery
Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery
