All in all Guidelines for Senior Year for Students in Internal Medicine.

Subinternship:

2 months of Internal Medicine is strongly recommended.
You should include the ICU requirement as part of your SubI.

Electives:

One to two months should be on the Internal Medicine Consult Service in the subspecialty of your choice, or an Am bulatory Care Month.

For Additional Courses:

•   Take those courses that you are not likely to see again.
•   Take courses outside of Medicine that interest you.
•   Take an International Rotation elective
•   Take courses that would co mpliment your career choice:
These would include, but are not limited to,  Radiology, Dermatology, a Surgery Subspecialty, Psychiatry, Anesthesiolog
