Get ERAS ID number
On July 1, you need to get your ERAS ID Number. This is an important step on your way to become a resident. This is where you basically store all your residency application material and where you apply to residency programs so it is an important piece in the puzzle.
Dear Dr. (First, Last),
Things to remember:
1. All passwords are case-sensitive. The password “DOCTOR” is not the same as the password “doctor.”
2. You will not be able to certify your application until September 1st.
3. Being registered with ERAS does not mean that you are registered with the NRMP or any other Match. To register with the NRMP, visit their Web site: www.nrmp.org
